As a queer and trans person, working with my community is my personal and professional passion.
I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles specializing in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapy.
I believe it can make a big difference when others resonate with thoughts, feelings, and experiences similar to those we've had ourselves.
While I can only speak from my own perspective, I strive to bring every bit of that perspective into my work with clients.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, it's important to me to collaborate with my clients as much as possible to adjust treatment in ways that best fit their unique needs, preferences, and life experiences.
To do this, I may make use of different therapy treatment styles and theoretical orientations, including psychodynamic therapy, Family Systems therapy, LGBTQ+ Affirmative interventions, and providing psychoeducation and resources specific to clients' own expansive gender and/or sexual identities and experiences.
Therapy can be hard work, but I'll be there to affirm and support you through the whole process.
